Wayang is a popular folk theatre. People often relates wayang to bayang (shadow). It is said that by watching wayang, people actually learning reflection of their life which represented by the story. The story is usually based on Mahabarata and Ramayana. Wayang Golek plays in Sundanese language dialogue accompanied by Salendro orchestra conducted by Dalang (profesional puppet player). Wood puppet is shown if there were a circumcising ceremony, wedding ceremony or other sacral events etc. [Padjadjaran University]
